| Abstract: | The use of three dimensional – 3D models is becoming ever more frequent as clients increasingly appreciate their high level of usefulness. This article provides one of several possible compositions of a 3D city model by a presentation of an area of a 3D model, and the organisation of the vector cartographic model. This article focuses on the data required in the composition of a 3D model, its preparation and processing until the final dynamic visualization. The practical example of a 3D city model is based on Slovenske Konjice, where the emphasis is on the making of 3D models of buildings. |
