DOAJ-KB Longterm Preservation of Open Access Journals
The longterm preservation project is a cooperation project between DOAJ and the National Library of the Netherlands (KB)/e-Depot, sponsored by Swedish Library Association. The aim of the project is to make it possible to incorporate the content included in DOAJ into e-Depot for archiving. A pilot project has successfully been accomplished – a number of journals in different languages were selected. Formats and protocols have been investigated and a template for the continuing workflow of harvesting and delivering metadata has been outlined. Read more
Once the content of a journal has been archived in the e-Depot archive, an icon appears automatically in the DOAJ record – Archived.
