Accidental extubation in intensive care unit: a review of literature
Abstract
One is about a bibliographical research on the accidental extubation in critical patients. It objective to analyze published scientific articles concerning extubation in adults and to identify which they associated the accidental extubation to the care of nursing. The research in the data base MedLine was carried through, in the period of 1993 it 2005.Where trought sixteen articles. Of these five only presented the relation of the extubation for the patient and/or the team of health.
