Abstract

As known; goal programming, which is a type of multi-objective programming that its priority is satisfaction and based on optimization, allows decision maker to design an optimal system. Hence; a solution set provides simultaneous satisfactory is determined. Fuzzy goal programming model is analyzed in two different forms with respect to objective preemptive priority structure. In the first form, an importance level of preferences is specified quantitatively. In the second form, preference priority is added to model as linguistic information.In fuzzy goal programming; additive model which is adapted to mentioned two forms is developed by Tiwari, Dharmar and Rao (1987). Goal programming based on more satisfaction instead of optimization. Thus, using of fuzzy logic in this area is appealing. Goal programming approaches based on fuzzy logic is developed by the time of progress and every approach is aimed at getting better models. A model that allows preemptive priority in fuzzy goal programming in order to reach maximum membership and makes its solution to one structural problem is developed by Chen and Tsai (2001). Additive model which is proposed by Chen and Tsai allows for making desired success of level for every fuzzy goal by a decision maker. Thus, relative importance of these goals is stated clearly. In this paper, additive model used in fuzzy goal programming applied to plastic factory which is established in Izmir. The relationship between goals of production planning chief and model outputs is evaluated and presented.

Abstract

The crisis taking place in the financial markets inevitably affects the reel sector. Survival of the firms during or after the crises is closely related to their debt structures and operational decisions. In this respect, consistency between debt/equity structures and operational decisions of the listed companies is crucial in terms of their survival-ability, particularly during the crisis periods.This paper examines survival ability of the 142 firms registered to the İstanbul Stock Exchange (ISE) Industrial Index both before and after the crisis. Constant returns to scale approach is used in the analysis. While the input variables used are related to the financial structures of the firms, the output variables refer to the operational structures of the firms. Of the 136 firms from the sample whose analyzable data was accessed, 18 are found to be relatively efficient before the crisis. The number of relatively efficient firms rises to 24 after the crisis. This situation leads to a conclusion that the firms registered to ISE Industrial Index are vulnerable in terms of debt management.

Abstract

Nowadays business life is getting even more complex. Although they were known previously, some subjects related to business life have been thought as spontaneous, have been neglected or have not been researched elaborately. However, in recent years, it can be observed that some of these subjects are being analyzed thoroughly more than before. Mobbing is one of these subjects which takes place rather frequently in either academic or other researches.Mobbing, which is among aggressive behaviour issue, should be evaluated both from the agressors’ and the victims’ point of view. In literature, it can be seen that there are numerous researches on mobbing which concentrates only on agressors, whereas there are not much studies examining mobbing victims. Therefore in the research part of this study mobbing victims are chosen as a sample and the relationship between mobbing victims and their personality characteristics is examined. The main assumption of the study is that some people who have specific personality characteristics are typically mobbing victims than others who do not have these personality characteristics.

Abstract

As the borders have diminished in today’s global world, the organizations need to seek new ways to survive. In this regard, the organizations need to keep track of new opportunities to adapt change. In order to adapt opportunities and innovations the organizations should focus on Human Resources as they are the primary resource of organizations. As the human resources are satisfied, their commitment to organization will increase leading to an increase in consumer demands. Today’s organizations want concrete data in order to analyze the effects of human resource managers on employees. The abstract data of Social Sciences are not enough for employers. Thus, thinkers of new era have started to use mathematical models to study and analyze data regarding human resources. In this study, balanced scorecard will be used as a method to analyze human resources in the context of organization.

Abstract

Setting up a long-term relationship with the customer and making it a loyal customer by maintaining the continuity of this relationship is one of the important aims of an enterprise. All data collected about customers which are kept in data warehouse become information by analyzing with data mining. So, an effective marketing strategy becomes applied, holding the customer wishes in the foreground. Also, it is provided that businesses have one-to-one contact with a lot of clients at the same time, make analysis about customer wishes, customer complaints, customer likes, customer losses and re-gains, customer satisfaction, etc., give advantage about timing and costs.With this research, it is aimed that the importance of CRM and e-CRM is put forward by following the results when they are applied or not applied in automotive sector.
