Abstract
The subject of the analysis is the reconstruction of the methodological approach of the outstanding teacher Maria Dudzikowa to scientific research in pedagogy. From the Author's scattered texts the principles and research procedures that determine the value of scientific cognition and, at the same time, create key assumptions for the design of pedagogical research, their implementation and analysis and interpretation of the obtained results are presented.
