The strength assessment of the anchor rope support of the machine for logging on the slope

Abstract

The article presents a method for calculating the interaction of a support and an anchor rope of a logging machine on a slope. The cases of using a freestanding tree and a steel I-beam vertically driven into the ground as a support are considered. Calculations are performed using analytical dependencies, as well as the finite element method.
