Abstract
This article is part of Axis 3 of the NEQ 2023 Day : "Approaching the interpreting subject by setting teachers and researchers in history". It seeks to answer the following question : how can a "hermeneutic of the subject" (Foucault, 2001 [1982]) induced by auto-ethnographic reflexive practices play a role in the constitution of a professional and scientific identity, particularly among young researchers ? After an initial theoretical section outlining the notion of historicity from a philosophical point of view, concrete examples drawn from a corpus of theses and interviews with young researchers will be presented. They will highlight the methodological, ethical and epistemological issues involved in historicizing researchers in and through research.
