MEDIAÇÃO: SIGNIFICAÇÕES, USOS E CONTEXTOS.
Abstract
This paper presents a series of reflections on the concept of mediation and mediators in Science Museums and Technology and Science Centers, with the objective of enclosing theoretical elements that might contribute to a broader and deeper debate on these concepts in the field of Science Education and Science Communication. These reflections lead audience to a better understanding. Therefore, new aspects for discussing about how these concepts end up dominating specific fields and communities can be presented. Some relevant aspects are also highlighted as proposals for further discussions among educators on museums in order to reevaluate their educational practices and learning processes in such facilities.
