Feminismo teen e youtubers: feminismo na adolescência em tempos de redes sociais

Abstract

This paper investigates how the motivations, practices and experiences of adolescents self-identified as feminists are impacted by social networks. Based on semi-structured interviews, it was investigated how such social networks, especially YouTube, impacted the process of girls’ feminist education. The work concludes that social networks have outlined a “feminization of culture”, a long historical process of cultural change in which respect for the feminine, human dignity and difference are central values
