Justice pénale internationale au Rwanda
Abstract
Thirty years after the final episode of the civil war and the genocide of the Rwandan Tutsis, the International Mechanism set up in 2010 to carry out the residual functions of the Criminal Tribunals for Rwanda and the former Yugoslavia has essentially concluded proceedings relating to the final cases of defendants prosecuted by the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda. This article offers a brief overview of the Tribunal’s activities, and of the debates surrounding the transfer of its archives to the national authorities when it closes in the near future.
