Abstract

São apresentados 4 casos de abscesso cerebelar em pacientes de até 10 anos de idade, sendo discutidos alguns de seus apectos diagnóticos, etiopatogênicos e terapêuticos. A apresentação destes casos é justificada pela raridade com que esta entidade é registrada na literatura.Four cases of cerebellar abscess ocurring in patients from 7 to 10 years old are reported. Some diagnostic, etiopathogenic and therapeutic aspects are discussed. Owing to the relative rarity of the occurence of this condition, the report of these cases is justified.
