Pipe conveyor and calculation its basic parameters

Abstract

Pipe conveyors with the rubber belt are a new technology which brings totally new and significantly higher level of the protection of the life environment at the transport of bulk materials from the supplier to the consumer, but also at the transport of material directly in quarries and underground mines, by which the life environment is being significantly improved. The pipe conveyors represent a revolution change at the manipulation with the bulk materials. They are a modification of classical belt conveyors. Their task is not to replace the classical belt conveyors fully, but to improve their paramete;rs in areas where it is possible. The paper deals with calculation basic parameters of pipe conveyor.
