Introduction to Morphology Books Prescribed by Wif┐ q alMad┐ ris al-‘Arabiyah and a Comparative Study of the two Books: ‘Ilm al-╗ arf and Irsh┐ d al-╗ arf

Abstract

Morphology is one of those most important linguistic sciences of Arabic language which play an important role in understanding the Arabic text. Therefore, all the Islamic seminaries include it as a subject in the syllabus. This article aims to introduce some important works of morphology included in the syllabus of Wif┐ q al-Mad┐ ris al- ‘Arabiyah and then compare two important books: ‘Ilm al-╗ arf and Irsh┐ d al-╗ arf.
